1. In case of cancellation, the following refunds will be made: 4 days before arrival: 50% of the booked arrangements
   7 days before arrival: 0% of the booked arrangements.
   
   The date of cancellation is based on the arrival of the written declaration at the booking office. Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays are not considered working days.
   
   If the booked arrangement cannot be used, Scuol Palace accepts a substitute person who must take over the existing booking under the same conditions. The substitute person must be notified to Scuol Palace in good time (before arrival). The original guest remains the contracting party and is liable to Scuol Palace.
   
   
2. Cancellation of a group booking of more than 10 rooms must be communicated to Scuol Palace no later than 60 days prior to arrival. Cancellations from 59 days before arrival: 50% of the booked arrangements.
   
   Cancellations from 29 days before arrival: 100% of the booked arrangements.
   
   Scuol Palace may reduce cancellation costs at its own discretion if the rooms can be re-rented at the same price.
   
   If Scuol Palace is unable to provide the organizer with one or more booked rooms for any reason, Scuol Palace will provide the organizer with an equivalent room. If no equivalent room is available, Scuol Palace will provide the organizer with an available room of a different category.
   
   
3. In case of force majeure such as political unrest, strikes, disasters, etc., Scuol Palace can cancel for security reasons even at short notice. In such cases, the guest will receive the amount paid in the form of a voucher.
   
   

The rooms and suites may only be used or occupied by the number of persons (including children) specified in the contract. The guest is not allowed to rent or lease rooms and suites rented from Scuol Palace to third parties for use.
The guest is liable for any damage, unless he can prove that it was caused without his fault (or that of co-users). Damages must be reported immediately to Scuol Palace.

Scuol Palace reserves the right to make changes to the rooms, if the new premises meet the requirements and interests of the organizer and are acceptable to the organizer. Subleasing or subletting of rooms or areas by the organizer requires the prior written approval of Scuol Palace.
The organizer is solely responsible for obtaining any necessary permits at his own expense. Copyright compensation in connection with musical performances must be registered and paid by the organizer.

Disputes arising from contracts are exclusively and finally decided by an arbitration tribunal of three persons. The arbitration tribunal is composed as follows: Each party appoints an arbitrator and they appoint the chairman. If one of the parties fails to appoint an arbitrator within 14 days of being requested to do so or if the two arbitrators appointed are unable to agree on the chairman within the same period, the relevant member of the arbitration tribunal shall be appointed by the president of the local regional court EBVM upon request of a party. The arbitration tribunal itself determines its procedural rules. The interest in a quick decision through a simple procedure must be taken into account. The arbitration tribunal also decides on the allocation of costs. It is based in Scuol.

Events
The organizer must transparently inform Scuol Palace about the purpose and nature of the event. If Scuol Palace finds that the organizer has not provided correct information about the purpose and nature of the event, Scuol Palace is entitled to withdraw from the contract.

Theft
No liability is assumed for theft and loss from ski rooms, bike rooms, wellness, club, bar, concert hall, cloakroom, park, parking lot.

Damage
The contracting party, guest, and client is liable in any case for all damages caused to rooms, facilities, furniture, and surroundings.

Severability Clause
If individual provisions of these GTC are ineffective, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. In such a case, the legally ineffective provision shall be replaced by a provision that is effective and equivalent in meaning.

Applicable Law/Arbitration
The contract shall be governed exclusively by Swiss law

If one of the parties fails to appoint an arbitrator within 14 days of being requested to do so, or if the two arbitrators appointed are unable to agree on the person of the chairman within the same period, the member of the arbitration tribunal concerned shall be appointed by the President of the local EBVM regional court at the request of one of the parties. The arbitration tribunal shall determine its own rules of procedure. In doing so, the interest in a speedy decision shall be taken into account by means of a simple procedure. The arbitration tribunal shall also decide on the bearing of costs. It shall have its seat in Scuol.
