Our daily afternoon tea at 3:30 pm is enriched by the magical sounds of the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra (June 5-17, except June 8, 9 and 16). Enjoy teas and delicacies while being enchanted by a varied musical program. The repertoire ranges from classical pieces to popular musicals – performed by changing groups from the orchestra itself. The highlight of our musical calendar is the exclusive chamber orchestra performance in the orchestra pavilion in our park on June 8. On June 9, the unique performance of Beethoven’s Ninth Symphony will then take place at the Hotel Scuol Palace for hotel guests and friends only: this is the rehearsal for the concerts that will then take place in the ‘Eishalle Scuol’.

Romansh meets Beethoven

It is a special honor to experience the Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra performing Rhaeto-Romanic works. Among other things, the “Ode to Joy” will be performed in the Rhaeto-Romanic language – a world premiere in the anniversary year “200 years of Beethoven’s Ninth”. Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue will also be performed – in the anniversary year “100 years of Rhapsody in Blue”. And finally, specially arranged Rhaeto-Romanic folk songs will be presented by Cinzia Regensburger. These unique musical performances offer a rare opportunity to experience the rich culture of the Engadin through the universal language of music – in the anniversary year “500 years of the Free State of Graubünden”. All performances at Scuol Palace are free of charge for our guests as part of our commitment to offer you an unforgettable cultural experience.
